Jesus is My Cofactor!

Food for thought!
I was recently in a Biochemistry course where the teacher was discussing enzymes and cofactors.
What in the world is a cofactor? By definition, a cofactor is a nonprotein substance that forms a complex with certain enzymes and is essential for their activity.
This hit me while I sat in class. I immediately thought to myself is Jesus my cofactor? He is essential for my activity aka life. This verse came to mind John 14:6(ESV), which reads “Jesus said to him,“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Cofactors change the structure of an enzyme to get it to work properly. If a cofactor is removed from an enzyme then that particular enzyme does not function properly
Hmmm, Sound familiar? So without Him (our cofactor) we can not perform like we are suppose to perform.

So, if things aren’t going your way and you feel yourself in a storm ask yourself one question.

Got Jesus?
Go get closer to your cofactor.
